It’s been a long and sleepless night. My BIL is on his way to the midwest to pick up his grandchild and arrange for the body of his daughter to be transported east for the funeral. If any of you are in a toxic or abusive relationship, get out now. Just go. Leave behind whatever you have to leave behind and get to a shelter or a friend or relative. Nothing you own is worth dying for at the hands of someone who you already know doesn’t really love you. Go. Save yourself.
