Are they capable of feeling love? Aware enough to put someone's needs, if not ahead of their own, then at least realize that they are as important as their own?
Makes me sad to think about. I had 2 really great dates with a guy that might have been that way. Unfortunately our political beliefs were pretty opposite. Literally every other guy I've interacted with was only interested in sex and not dating.

Feelings, Ha, When I was first with my wife she asked me what I was feeling. My reply was "I'm fine" I hated the word feelings for many years. She stuck it out and now I think I'm a human being with feeling that I can recognize and opinions that get shared. Sometimes too much but at my age i do not beat around the bush anymore.

You got that right but with all the crap women have put up with for years I can see they are reluctant sometimes. Hey ladies, a bunch of us really do respect you
@starwatcher-al It's overcoming the fear they have,especially the abused ones,have you petted an abused Dog? How they cower,and trembled in anticipation of a beating? Gaining trust,showing you are not like the abuser takes time.Women are the same,hoping they will find a Man to hold them close,and treat them as they should be treated.
@Louise1920 I totally understand that part of the situation. That trust needs to be earned even if I was not the abuser.
A few words ?? Looks like a lotta words to me ??
