I disagree, you get what corruption and election tampering thrust upon you. Russia is not our friend and treason is not a democratic election strategy.

@ArdentAtheist The Trump supporters don’t care about the corruption and Russian interference they love the guy because he is doing what he promised . It is up to the rest of you to persuade them that they are wrong,. I don’t know the voting statistics in the USA, but I am sure there is a lot of apathy amongst voters and a lot don’t bother to vote. Voting should be made mandatory it is a civic duty. Leave the Russians out, as we don’t know how much they influenced the result. Hillary was disliked even by some Democrats so putting up a better candidate would be a good start in defeating Trump next time.

@Marionville I agree with some of what you said but not all... first, I’m not leaving the Russians out because they did and are still working very hard to influence our elections, even if I don’t have the level I’m not going to pretend it’s ok. Trying to change the mind of a Trump suporter is futile... you are correct about apathy, getting people that don’t vote to vote is what needs to happen. I’ve put in for a vacation day so I can drive people to the polls.

I am not dismissing the Russian interference, they are poisoning people in theUK, a woman died yesterday, but you have to tackle the things that individuals can do to influence change. By actively encouraging and helping voters to vote that is something you personally can do.
