Anyone else hate being the only one who doesn’t bow their heads and/or close their eyes when some prayer is said at a public gathering? I’m really not looking to make a protest out of it, but I de facto basically am by staring straight ahead and then it inevitably leads to looks and questions.

I have had my fills with things thatd some conotations of some form of some sort of religious context. usuall I don't mind, be it funerals, or wedings, Which I have no real problem with. I figure, to each i own. But as for bowing my head in some sort of religious content, I simply will not do that.

I work at a place where they pray and I don't play. No worries ?

If all of them burst out into the Michigan fight song, would you join in?

No way!

I'll be silent but I won't bow my head either. Haven't had very many folks say anything.

I don't hate it at all. I want the "looks and questions".
When I am questioned, they open themselves up to having to have a discussion
over their delusions. If they bring it up, they get what they get.
I love that shit.

Meh, I pretend like I am as to not to make a scene. If home made dinner rolls are near me, I take them before they get done with their prayer. lol That's how you get the good stuff.
