Dear World, please send to the American people "...your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore, Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost" and all the psychiatrists you possibly can!
Life isn't static and times change. When the call to 'give us your tired and poor' went out, America was a new world. I think we need to consider the world we live in today. Can America really afford (and I don't just mean financially) to live in thrall to an 18th century ideal or does it need to control its intake of tired and poor?
Please send us your tired, your poor,, your huddled masses yearning to breath free so we can imprison them and kidnap their children. If you don't like it stay home and cheaply produce our drugs, we need to consume them in order to salve our decayed conscience.
