The broadcasting conglomerate Sinclair has proposed a merger that would give it control of TV stations throughout most of the country. This is extremely dangerous for our democracy – and it would trample all over our First Amendment rights of free speech and a free press.
Sinclair has been exposed for forcing its affiliates to broadcast scripted lines that parrot politically-biased news. Soon that could be the only news accessible in many households.
We have the power to persuade the FCC to stop this merger if enough of us speak up. I just submitted a public comment to the FCC. Will you join me?

The ruling class own the media. There's not much you can do about it.
I don't have a television myself. It keeps me sane not having to be subjected to endless propaganda.

I signed the petition...Some of our broadcasters were forced to read a statement about fake news and it was horrible. I already pledge monthly to the ACLU. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. We are going to have our rights as Americans snatched away because people support this demagogue idiot without knowing what is going on...
