Body composition is more important than weight, IMO. A person with more muscles will look thinner but weight more. You should get a fat/muscle ratio test to determine what that should be and not worry so much about weight. I weigh more than I did in college but I am two sizes less. It is the weight training for me that makes the difference.

Exactly. As a classic ectomorph, I would be frail without weightlifting. At 5'5" tall, I weigh 115 lbs. I carry a 40-lb. pack on backpacking trips. That's 1/3 of my body weight.
Since age 21, I have been weightlifting, running and hiking over 200 miles/year.
@LiterateHiker wow..that is amazingly inspiring! You are tiny! I am a classic mesomorph...sturdy like a tree trunk! I can't get a waist for anything!
@thinktwice
Thank you, darling!
It took 40 years of weightlifting to build miniscule back muscles. Sheesh. Back photo: Sept. 2016.
"Look at my bicep muscle!" I said to my husband, flexing proudly.
"It looks like a dog's tail," he replied. Squish.
You have trouble getting a waist? Me, too. I look like a pencil standing straight. Must stick out elbows and knees in photos.
Exhibit A: the pencil at Lake Colchuck.
@LiterateHiker oh your lats and traps are so awesome!!! I am the classic rectangle...lol
@thinktwice
Thank you! You made me laugh.
Finally at age 63, I asked someone to photograph my back. I was curious.
"Can you see any back muscles?" I asked men when naked. "Yes," they replied. An insufficient answer.
Now I"ll look up lats and traps (Latissimus Dorsi and Trapezius muscles).
I'm proud of you for weightlifting. You look amazing!

It depends on her body type:
Ectomorph
Thin and frail. She has a tough time putting on weight, has low body fat and typically a fast metabolism. Think linear or ruler body shape, narrow shoulders, waist and hips. Celebrity ectomorphs? I’d go with Kate Moss, Kiera Knightley or Cameron Diaz.
Mesomorph
The athlete. Strong structure, your hips and shoulders are usually the same width which makes you very symmetrical, like an X. Usually you can be hourglass, pear or apple shaped. You can gain fat more easily than the ectomorph, but with the right cardio balance, you can maintain a lean muscle body. Think Gabrielle Reese and Jennifer Garner.
3.Endomorph
If you´re an endomorph, you already know you have a hard time losing body fat and you gain weight easily. You are usually curvy, have a softer and rounder body and have a slow metabolism. Jennifer Hudson, Oprah or Marilyn Monroe are three celebrity examples.
Whatever weight at which she feels happy and healthy.
I'm 5'3 and have always been told it's around 125. Hold on while I laugh. .........................................................................................................
You do you. Don't let people give you their ideal body size. If you are healthy and happy, who cares?
