Jet, who's usually black but had been rolling in chalk drawings the kids did. Luna, pretending to be a plant. Two black cats, born on Halloween.
@BohoHeathen Only if you try to stroke her tummy.
This is Chester he is an odd Cat that likes warm baths and jumping up on to the shoulders of complete strangers.
This is Steve. He wanted to be a housegoat, but my husband kept trying to eat the "chocolate raisins somebody dropped in the floor."
KIDDING!! Although Steve did want to be a housegoat.
What a sweetheart!
Hehe, Fudge!
Laika's a German shepherd/Australian cattle dog mix - the best parts of each. She's gradually becoming more conversational.
At least he is not a purple dinosaur !
@Rick_1 NO! That Barney was not allowed in my house. This Barney was born in a barn. Hence the name. It was that or Gus (as in the mouse Gus-Gus from Cinderella)
The cat I grew up with is now 21 (or 22?) and lives with my Dad. Bless him, he keeps going! This is a photo from last week, as you can see he's a bit frail now. For cute pub dogs, see my profile picture.
I lost Chewbacca (tongue boy on the left) a year ago march but it still hurts. Rockie (the one-eyed wonder) and LambChop are my mates now.
I don't have a pet but I just wanted to say that those lonely nights can be bothersome. I hope all is well this morning.
These are my beautiful Himalyans...the bigger one left us this year - she was almost 20. The smaller one is still hanging on - fiesty, so loveable and cuddly even tho she is most decidedly the alpha girl - she has officially hit 20. I just don't know how anyone can not love cats.
I didnt know cats could live to 20.
@Bigwavedave We didn't either.....these two were litter mates - my son brought them to me when they were 6 wks old. I made a decision when they were still very young to have them declawed (front only) - which a lot of people think is a horrible thing to do but the Vet we were using at the time said "If they are going to be inside cats and you want to live in harmony with something whose sole mission in life is to destroy every piece of furniture in your house, I would definitely do it." They've had a really good life and Tess just might set a record.
This was our Khan....he was a rescue - wild hormone driven boy and full blown heartworms when we took him in. Was a rough year for him between the heartworm treatments, getting neutered so that he could become a more social creature, etc. He went from 65 lbs to 105 lbs and turned into one of the sweetest dogs I've ever known. We lost him this past January after having been blessed with 11 great years with him.
