Do you have a smartphone app you would recommend?
I recommend SoundHound.
If you are listening to a song that you can't remember or don't know the name of. SoundHound will tell you. Just hold the microphone near a speaker and it will display the name.
You can also sing some lyrics into the microphone. It can figure it out the name that way too. I haven't tried that feature yet.
Sometimes, on a rare occasion, it will display the wrong song or no song.
I just did it with this song.
I found (I Just) Died in Your Arms by Cutting Crew with SoundHound and thought you'd enjoy it too!
Then I find it on YouTube and post it here.
Such a tool could have come in handy to me so many times, but, as you indicated, I bet it's very imperfect and most of my requests would stump it. Still might be worth it if expectations are kept in check.
Give it try! It's free! If you don't like it, delete it. I find it's about 90% accurate for me. Sometimes I can bearly hear a song and still figures it out. Shazam's another option. And as I just learned from the comment above. Google will do it too. "Ok, Google. What is this song?"
Thanks! It just found my new favorite song!
Cold. Harsh.
We could be friends.
You're so good at beating dead horses! LMAO!!
Newman explained to the Chicago Tribune that he was adopting the role of "a nut that no one would take seriously."
On the surface, the song is making fun of little people, but "short" is meant in a figurative sense, intending to poke fun at people who are short-tempered and small-minded
Guess you didn't actually listen to or don't understand the lyrics. "Short People are just the same as you and I. All men are brothers until the day they die."
Cool, thanks for the heads up. I will have to give it a try .
