I was advised by a friend to sprinkle cayenne pepper around in places animals frequent to poop....it works. It kept the squirrels out of my vegetable garden. I guess the special place has to smell just right or they don’t want to use it.

True story; I work at a facility that used to have a dog yard in it. It was discontinued and we are using the area for a garden in which we grow for the food bank in our area. A building was on the site years ago and we are digging out bricks from the clay soil. I decided that our chances of growing anything was slim to none as the soil is literally clay with only a bit of loam. Well, the eggplant are almost two feet high, cucumbers by the boatload, squash are everywhere, tomatoes will number in the hundreds of bushels. WTF? Now we realize that years of dogs pooping everywhere must be the reason. Have no other explanation for the rapid growth of the veggies.

That reminds me of the joke about the software engineer.

His wife asked him, "Would you stop at the store and get a gallon of milk, and if they have eggs get a dozen?"

He came home with 12 gallons of milk.

You better watch it or your wife may trade you in for someone that understands her, he, he.

hahaha. I had to figure out the 'st' tho. Thought it was 'sit' at first. You must have delicate sensibilities if you can't say the word 'shit'

@webspider555 onya mate. Gotta share the shit. 😀

@webspider555 Oh, darn! I thought you really wrote that cute little scenario. Oh, well!

Oh, for Pete's sake; have you considered growing mint?

Please expound just a bit?

@BlueWave why, yes, yes I could. Mentha (mint) is a genus of plants in the family Lamiaceae. It is estimated that 13 to 18 species exist, and the exact distinction between species is not clear. It's used in lamb dishes and in Mint Juleps.

@Condor5 Okay.....yeah, I know what mint is. What does it have to do with the original post?

@BlueWave nothing, I was just keeping in the spirit of Silly, Random, and Fun. I have a warped sense of humor.
