It says that it's time to stop treating schools like a business with all the money going to superintendents who then provide high paying jobs to their best friends instead to placing the money into the school budgets for supplies and staff.

It says you better step up before churches step in. Churches are already buying up struggling hospitals. After that, they can determine which procedures are in line with church doctrine. That some schools open themselves up to charity organizations for backing, leaves them vulnerable to predation by charter and religious organizations.

@MaliaPonzio Hi Malia!

What it says is that there are too many children in the system and that homeowners are already being taxed to death and can't handle additional taxes. It also says that local and state governments as well as the Federal Government are wasting money on things that do not benefit the citizens of this country.

It tells you just how much Republican politicians really care about the well-being, development, and future of our children. "Our children are the message we send to a future we will not see.: Republicans are saying that they really don't give a damn.

In Michigan, a percentage of all lottery monies are supposed to be earmarked for the schools. According to the latest press release this has amounted to BILLIONS of dollars in aid to education. And our teachers are buying supplies from their own , the buildings are crumbling, the bathrooms are missing sinks, mold is everywhere! I can't understand why there isn't an audit and an accountability review.. we're talking billions here...where the hell is it going?

Same in Florida, but with tax and revenue cuts, lottery revenue is a band aid.
