Have you ever been in a relationship with a believer? How did it go?

A few. Religion was never the issue though. Doesn't matter the religion, some people can't be faithful with all of that faith they got.

Only one had an issue with it. Most that I’ve dated it doesn’t matter to them.

Yes, it was okay. Just from time to time he would try to “convince” me to believe in his belief, so that bothered me.

Yup. Fine.
I never participated and she never asked.

No. I have friends who used to be religious before I met them ( I don't mean that it was me that converted them). My partner realised when he was six years old that the catholic church and the protestant one were both telling their pupils that they had the one true god. I seem to have been surrounded by non believers most of my life (till I came to N.I.)

Great. Career paths were the reasons for ending them.

Believer, yes. Someone who goes to church, no. It was never a problem in the slightest.

I deconverted during my 2nd marriage and my wife did not. It was not a problem for our relationship in any way.

Key for us, I think, was that our relationship wasn't centered around church ... because of my wife's (ultimately fatal) illness, she wasn't able to keep consistent schedules and drifted away from church. Also, I suppose, knowing you're dying is great at focusing you ... I'm sure she realized that my apostasy was the least of her concerns.

I deconverted years back and my wife didn't but she started to believe other things and was never a church goer. She passed away 5 months ago.

@FarmerFritz52 Sorry for your loss. Best advice I got during this period in my own life (1) no big decisions or at least a year, and (2) walk it off. Sounds like you're more or less doing that.

Twice. Both times, they tried to convert me....told me that, deep down, I really DID believe, etc. It wasn't what ended the relationships...but it didn't help!

Nope. All were either agnostic, atheist, or indifferent.

Every relationship I ever had started with the Belief she can change me.

Some have been fringe but it didn’t matter.

Yes. When I would not go to her church with her she broke off the relationship. Looking back at it, I don't regret losing that relationship.

Did not even get past first base. I wanted to talk about sex and all he wanted to talk about was God.
