@maturin1919 Only the very best for our members!!!!
Welcome to the site. The people here are great, friendly, intelligent but we vary a lot and don't always agree. I joined just a couple of days ago because I need a support community and I do think I have found it.
Welcome to our world, as vast and eclectic as it is. You will learn lots of new and interesting things here I'm sure.
There are two strong arguments against the existence of deities. The burden of proof doesn't apply equally to both the for and against claims. If you assert that a thing exists, you have to present evidence and show the the evidence can only be interpreted in your favor. There's no falsifiable theory that would prove a god's existence.
As I typed this I thought of another; there is no theory that includes a deity and can actually predict the outcomes of events. For example, I can use the theory of gravity to predict the speed of a falling object at any point of its path.
