I'm going to be housebound for a week and looking to binge watch some shows and movies. So far I've got The Looming Tower and Yellowstone lined up. I need suggestions.

"Orange is the New Black" on Netflix...really amazing to watch without interruption!

Mindhunter is good if you like crime dramas. Its about FBI agents in the late 70's who do profiling of serial killers.

Stranger Things is awesome, fun, and creepy. It's like if Stephen King and Steven Spielberg made a TV series back in the 80s.

Santa Clarita Diet is fun though gross. Drew Barrymore is a real estate agent who's also a flesh-eating zombie. Timothy Oliphant is her husband. There are hijinks and dismembered body parts.

Recently watched the Forest on Netflix and enjoyed it. My daughter liked the Chalet better but me not so much. Currently watching Sniffer( Russian with subtitles) Haven’t decided if I like it yet but it’s noise. The 1st two are French with subtitles.

Lots of good shows and programs.

Depends on what type of programs you are wishing to watch,

Leaving out some of the obvious:

History/Science

[imdb.com] Is very enjoyable.

Fun Movies with a message:

Pleasantville: is surprisingly good.
Cars: (the first one) is a pleasing sentimental work with a lighter side.
Brave: (CGI) is a great fantasy work best on the big screen in 3d

Fantasy:
The Iron Giant (animated) is an fantastic artful (sound and images) movie but it suffers greatly if not shown on the big screen with rich theater sound.

Contact: - - Mixed opinion on this work - - it is one of the most requested movies I screen.

Cloud Atlas: (Wow!) one of the requested repeat showings Not sure how it would hold up on a smaller format.

Maleficent: Wonderful work best on the big screen in 3d but still maintains some beauty on a smaller format. For repeat screenings, this is the most requested movie I show.

Darker with a message:
Agora: Demonstrates the inherent (not) goodness of Christianity.

Life of Pi. I've only seen it 3d on the big screen and am not sure how it translates to a smaller screen. On the big screen, there are scenes that literally took my breath away. Long move that draws you into the fantasy world. May not be as inspiring on a lesser format?

Lowbrow humor:
Team America World Police: Excellent musical that is obscenely hilarious. Filled with material many find objectionable.

Adventure:
The original Apollo 13: (best on the big screen but still good)
Saving Private Ryan: (best on the big screen but still good)

Hope you find great entertainment during your homebound time.
