I was driving home about 10 years ago, heard the sirens and the radio, and decided I could still make it home. OOPS! I felt my tires leave the pavement for a few seconds, the wind was that strong. Now if I am at home I head for the basement with my kitty girls till it all blows over. At work the send us to the dungeons, ok, they call it basement and it leads to the parking garages.

It's good to know. I totally would have tried to stab one of those bad boys with a steak... or is it stake? Either way, it was nicely marbled.

Did you see the movie Tornado with Helen Hunt? Cow. Another cow. No, I think it is the same one. We moved to Overland Park, KS from the Seattle area in 1999. The kids were 15 to 8. We decided NOT to let them watch that movie before we moved.

As we like to say "yer not from around here, are ya?" We go stand out in the yard and take pics of the tornado.
