Are you talking to me? I'm squirming with pain. Tomorrow at 2:45 I have an appointment with a podiatrist who will, hopefully, stabilize the broken bone ends rubbing together.
I'm hoping for a walking cast.
@LiterateHiker I am so sorry to hear of your pain, I thought you went to the dr. And were better. The pain here is past the percocet stage. I hope you get better quickly and can get back to hiking. I ment my past post in fun as I did not know your still in pain. Ouch!

Hooray! The radiologist was wrong.
Today the podiatrist did not see a bone fracture on the x-ray of my foot. Instead, I have a serious contusion (a region of injured tissue or skin, in which blood capillaries have been ruptured or bruised.)
"Stay off it and take it easy for two weeks," Dr. Hui said. He put me in a surgical boot, and will see me in two weeks.
"Hairline fractures don't always show on the x-ray at first," he said. He ordered another x-ray in two weeks.
As soon as it heals, I will be able to continue hiking, running and weightlifting. And wear a pretty shoe at daughter Claire's wedding in September.
I'm thrilled!
We are going to have a lot of these idiots in jail. Perhaps we can move the prison to Mexico and let the mexicans care for them. I'm sure they would get great care, all those rapists, murders, and dope people. Imagine.

Just heard that repub in house has moved to impeach Rosenstein. This is obstruction of justice against those who have moved to do this. Every one gets time in jail.
