I'm kind just because it's the right thing to do. I don't expect sex or hand holding or, really even kindness back. I find it kinda funny that guys moan about being friendzoned by women their attracted to. Some of my best friendships, and one of my very best, started with my attraction to them.

I thought the kindness coins were only coins ever to be used. I was taught to treat every woman the way you want your father treat your mother.

You missed the whole point. Yes, be kind, but not with your only intention being to get sex from that person.
@WickedNicki Never was my intention to use kindness as a fare to sex. I was brought up to be kind to everyone. I got 2 daughters and they are always in the forefront of my mind and my heart. I am always worried about them and their choices in life. And I understand the prettier you are the more kindness you will receive even from those men intimidated by your beauty. I am the same kind hearted with ex lovers that I know I don't have any longer a chance. We parted with a hug and next time we see each other we will greet with a hug... Status change won't change my attitude. But I know men also could be very different from me. Also know the woman that takes advantage of her beauty knowing the least fortunate woman would never receive that opportunity. Life in this world is complex. There are birds of prey and predators among the preys. But even among those men with sex always in their mind... sex is not always the purpose or intention. Like I always say... "Show me the most beautiful woman in the world and I will find you a man tired of her shit". I hope I didn't offended you. When you live long and live you ended up as wise as satan, as stubborn as jesus, as bored as dracula but not less interested in the next adventure because you lived too long to learn how to quit.

This is one that should not be true but it appears that sometimes it is. I think that goes along with the current revelations about sexual harassment by people in power. It shouldn't happen and girls shouldn't be in the position to let it happen but that's not the real world I am sorry to say. I am old enough and have had enough frank conversations with women to know that this idea is alive and well on both sides of the gender line. If our daughters see and hear that sex can be exchanged for kindness/things then it will happen. We need to teach them their worth can't be measured like this.

haha...hahaha....that about defines what 'courting' means, right? Probably why I hate 'dating' let's be fake til we can decide we can be real around each other....let's hang out is so much better.

@CMilena Yeah, I was being more general. Inclusive. Fake til you convince someone you are what they want. And then I went on to extend my opinion to it's more modern counter point, which is dating. But I also come from a counter-culture that doesn't really do dating or empty compliments. I excepted the initial point and expanded it. Oh, and I would have went with my favorite shit you hear at the bar from the 'normal's or averages' as some of us called them 'she must have been a lesbian' when they are turned down.
@CMilena one of my 'favorites': I could turn her (and occasionally him, but much less frequently). Ugh. People are pretty slimy sometimes...a lot of the times...okay, most of the time...haha
