At work today, I had to step outside of the building to sign for a delivery. I then went back in and to the staffroom to get a drink, where I found my colleague Abigail having her lunch.
"It is so hot out there - I was outside for less than a minute and feel as though I'm melting," I told her.
"I think we're going to have thunder," she replied - and at the very moment she said "thunder", a huge thunderclap.

@Jnei Didn't say she won't, I had a deep pain on my fingers when I finished typing. I think the Force is Strong in her. Keep and eye on her and just in case. A cruxifix blessed by a priest with holy water should be hanging from your neck.
More than a few years ago, I worked for a software company that hired a lady who was Wiccan, and said she was a witch. A catholic gentleman overheard and freaked out, he was sure she would cast a spell that would call upon the Devil to do something powerful. She said, all I've done is dance nude in moonlight and don't believe in the devil.

My best man on my wedding used to be a devil worshipper... killing animals in sacrifice and everything. The devil never came. I eventually got divorced. He died tired of drug addiction and that is the end of the story.
It’s currently 100F here. Two days ago it was 109F.

It’s my own fault. I voluntarily moved to Texas.

In 2011 we had 100 consecutive days of over 100F temps. Since the beginning of July, it’s been 95F or above.
