Has anybody ever had chemistry with another person that was so strong you can't explain it or figure out why?
I have. First day on the job we looked at each other during the orientation and it was instant chemistry.
....and now for the rest of the story
@Our_existance I moved to the east coast and she got into a relationship. Le sigh.
@Sydland - I am so sorry it didn't quite happen.
@Our_existance Thanks. We were in our 20s and acting like tumultuous adolescents. On and off.
@Sydland - As long as it was good while it lasted
@Our_existance It was. I miss her though.
I've had that happened to me but it fades fast (hours or days). This may sound pretentious but in my 20s I've had on 2 separate occasions girls I tutored fall real hard for me. They thought we were meant to be together using the same words: I can't explain it or figure out why, etc..
So I took advantage of them and slept with them whenever I wanted. It was so easy.... NOT! (I felt more weird about it than flattered. These things work when it's mutual)
Yes, went out on a date and took her home and I never went home. Lasted over 36 years 'till she passed.
I hope that will be Lisa and I
@Our_existance I hope for you also. I sometimes think that it only happens once in a lifetime. I really can't see my putting that much energy into a relationship again.
@starwatcher-al - I never in my life have I experienced this with anyone.
Nope. I'm a bit of a sapiosexual.
All my life, when I hear witty conversation and people laughing, I run to join in the fun.
I am attracted to intelligent, athletic men with a great sense of humor. Discovering if I am attracted takes conversation and laughter.
Even in my 20s, I never went to bars. It's not my milieu. Don't like being around predatory men or drunks.
