I like to listen to audiobooks to save my eyesight but there are always times I want to check what I've heard. So I've taken to reading the classics with the free online texts. I only check the text if I have a question.

I thought this practice was peculiar to me but it turns out Kindle provides Audiosync for anyone who wants to do this.

I thought maybe we could invent a new word for reading and listening at the same time. My contribution is 'audioed', as in 'I audioed Crime and Punishment recently.

Can you think of a better one?

You check your local public library. Most libraries now have vendors (mine uses Media on Demand) who have apps available that link with your library account. You can check out audiobooks for free (especially the classics-they’re usually available).
