Hello everyone!! New to this site. Any tips?
Welcome! I can't add anything that hasn't been said, so I will, just belabor the points:
Browse BOTH groups AND general posts. Feel free to paste urls of news or general interest articles you come across, to add to your points and advance levels, tie your comments into questions on non-religious vs religious, if you can, but don't worry if you can't. Have fun, and don't ramble like me. Seriously, I am THE WORST about long comments. ?
Jump right in, reply to posts that interest you, join some groups that look as though they might interest you and you'll soon find yourself in various conversations. This site is unusual in that it's possible for women to express an opinion without being shouted down by trolls, so if you've experienced that on the larger social networking sites (and this really has become a social networking site rather than a dating site, despite what it says on the tin) you may find this place a breath of fresh air. It's a pleasure to meet you - enjoy the site!
No matter what he says, don't pull Granpa's finger.
Keep your head down when the bullets start flying.
Nah, all good here. I never got a date here but I've had some fun rants. Welcome.
Hi, Libby, and welcome to the website!
Yeah, this website has a bit of a learning curve.
For members who are open to dating, you will see that certain thumbnails and profiles have a heart symbol on them with a percentage. This identifies which members are open to dating, and the percent shows approximately how compatible you are with them. If you click the heart symbol on the top of their profile, you can see how it is determined.
You can improve your score in general by uploading a clear photo of your face, answering all the profile questions and writing a bio, which also earns you website points.
Commenting on posts and writing your own earns more points. At level two you can private message people, and at level eight you get an agnostic T-shirt.
The website uses profile algorithms to find member matches, so the more details one includes, the better the match.
Many people prefer to see a written profile talking about interests, hobbies, and backgrounds that can be quickly perused to find compatible partners.
In case you didn't know yet, to find members near you, click on the "Browse" button at the top of the page, then on "Members," and enter your preferred search parameters.
Click on the "Discuss" button, then "Nearby" to find members near you also.
Or click on the "About" button at the top left of the page to find links to FAQ or the website tutorial.
Points are now being given to level 3+ members who chat. You can see chat rooms on the group main page or at [agnostic.com].
Thank you so much!
Welcome to the club. Have fun!
Thank you
Dont be afraid to change it up.
I love changing it up Thank you
...don’t get your hopes up
@RunsOnCoffee I’ve never done online dating, was married too long, and too old fashioned. I joined for the banter (which has increased to an addictive level), to support Atheism, and learn. That part’s worked. I live in an amazing yet tiny town in Appalachia, and haven’t been here long enough to leave … yet it feels near impossible to attract anyone.. Just knowing ‘you people’ exist may be as good as it gets
I'm saying, Im trying to chat, but I can't yet
And be the first to comment on new posts whenever ya can so ya get double points ...woohoo. .
Yada .
