Ended up staying in a really nasty motel. The room smelled so bad that it was keeping us awake, yet I was afraid someone would crawl in an open window....

What are some other practical uses for motel bibles?

I usually pay them no attention at all, I guess on could use them to start a fire or toilet paper. Have never really given it any thought till now.

I've heard the pages make OK rolling papers?

That means putting them in your pocket which won't happen.

I wonder if they would take the cost out of your credit card if it ended up in the toilet?

@IAMGROOT Somehow I thought the hotels had to buy them? But why would they? You're right, probably free. I'm in a Vancouver BC hotel now & the book in the drawer is in Chinese. Too short to be even the New Testament. Who knows....
