I lived in Alaska...other than vacations...I would never go back.
Everythings is so freakin' expensive....and the winters are soooooo dark.
$6 for one pineapple and $4 for one avocado....no thanks.
I almost starved there (not really but it felt like it!)

yup.....I totally agree. That's one of those places that are really nice to visit ....but you don't want to live there!
So beautiful! We really do need to preserve our natural resources for everyone to enjoy in the future...
