Show of hands. Who would rather go to the mountains than the beach? Anyone else?
Honestly I like both.
I grew up in the mountains.
Now I live on the beach.
To me they both have their merits.
Both, beaches more so.
Sandcastles, visual waves, wildlife, sounds, sun tan, smells, most of all sexy bathing suits and walking artwork.
I love tidepools, but I sunburn too easily to like the beach. Of course the mountains get lots of bad weather, but they also get lots of flowers and animals.
I’m definitely a mountain girl. My grandparents had a house on a small lake in the NC mountains when I was growing up and I hated it there because there was no phone or tv reception. Boring. As I’ve gotten older I realize how wonderful that sounds and I get why all the adults in my life loved it there.
I live on the beach, so I love going to the mountains. It's cooler, air smells fresh, it's grounding, and I love hiking. I live on an island where the mountains and ocean are all within a few minutes of where ever I am at any given moment. I love them both. Back on the mainland, I used to love going to the mountains and paddling a rubber raft in the lakes. It's all beautiful!
For my whole life, I would’ve said beach. But this spring I visited Alaska and it was AMAZING. I have a new appreciation for mountains!
We have both in a very short distance... I could conceivably do both in the same day.
Mountains. I live in Southwest Florida, tired of seeing beaches and my dates wanting to walk on them with someone. LOL
Both. I would also include polar regions and deserts and say, all four.
To be honest I live in the Pacific Northwest and we're just surrounded by ocean water im not a big fan of saltwater it's very cold and (in my opinion) smells bad I much prefer the mountains cuz that's where the snow is in the winter and I like snowboarding
Depends on the mountains.
I hated the big mountains like in Colorado. I feel at home and ease in the Ozark mountains, though.
I hate the beach too. Cannot stand the feel of sand and it never goes away. Plus when I was 12 I went to Florida and got caught in the undertow while body surfing and almost drowned. Haven't set foot near the ocean since then
