What is something weird that grosses you out? I can't go to bed without putting lotion on my feet. That feeling of dry feet on the sheets... ? I have small bottles stashed in my travel bags for just that purpose. I even have to do it when I'm camping unless I wear socks to bed. And while we are on feet, I hate other people's bare feet touching my bare feet. EW. With socks on doesn't matter. Foot massage, no problem as long as you are careful because my feet are super ticklish. Weird.

Taylor Swift.... EEWWW!

People who eat with their mouth open or talk with their mouth full.

One time, I forgot about a bag of hamburger buns in my kitchen cabinet for a couple of years. When I finally spotted it one evening, about half of it had turned into a brown li

Also, biting into a chunk of beef and finding a lot of gristle.

The inside of a fig. I absolutely love the taste of figs, but I'm unable to eat them because the inside frightens me. Same goes for passionfruit.

I love fresh figs and am usually fortunate (or desperate?) enough to forget their connection to wasps when I'm chowing down.

People using cutlery that has been used by another person - even if that person is their (or indeed, my) partner or a close relative - even a mother and her child.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with it; in fact, if we all did and shared germs a bit more we'd probably all have better immune systems. Nor do I have an issue with the exchange of bodily fluids - hey, we all like a good snog (except @KissedbySun, see below). But, despite all that, there's just something about shared cutlery that makes me go "eew!"

Jnei Level 8 Aug 3, 2018

@Donotbelieve It depends on the snogger. I thought I had a similar reaction until I was about 26, when I met someone who really knew how to snog... and "ewww!" turned into "oooh!"

I must have a huge tolerance for "grossness"...I have cats that leave me baby bunny heads in the hallway...among other things...I can't think of a single thing right now...I like rubbing feet

I adore bunnies, but I absolutely worship cats - therefore, I can overlook these less-savoury aspects of feline behavior!

@Jnei Me, too..I am constantly throwing dead mice, chipmunks and bunnies into the graveyard in my backyard...I have two black cats that help me keep my property critter free most of the time...they do like bringing chipmunks in alive and I have to catch them...the worst thing they ever brought me was a baby fox...I wanted to keep it, but I let him go back out to find his mom

One if mine brought in a live juvenile rat and LOST it in the house! It took us 5 hours to catch it again.

Had a friend with questionable hygiene who stuck his finger under my nose after picking at his belly button once and the smell has turned me off belly buttons forever.

Please wash all parts of your body.

I might actually have to kill myself (having first carefully killed them) if anyone did that to me. Belly buttons are completely gross anyway, even without disgusting habits like that!

Other people's wounds and body bumps. "My knees are giving out -- listen to this..." as they squat down and I hear the chorus of snaps and crackles. "I can't figure out what this weird bump is on my arm, here, feel it..." No way!! Removing a bandage exposing a flesh wound - ewwwww!

Other people who don't look behind them at the toilet and end up leaving a gift for the next person, a pubic hair, drop(s) of pee, etc.

Wilted or even slightly browned lettuce. I'll pick it out -- it's not going into my mouth. A mushy apple -- one bite and it's in the trash. Won't touch a gross overripe banana - must have a very faint tinge of light green still.

People who taste with and lick their fingers while cooking (for others).

Oh, and the sheet thing -- it doesn't happen so much at home, but in hotels, I always put on lotion or a pair of socks because the sheets are scratchy. Totally gross.

Back in the days of nylons, I couldn't stand for somebody to touch my leg if I had nylons on.

Cant stand the sound of a metal nail file being used. The emery board type doesn't bother me.

I agree when it comes to wilted or mushy foods.

Senior men walking around bare chested, possibly women if I ever saw them do it.

I agree. It's not sexy or attractive at all to me.

This one bothers me regardless of the man's age in certain areas. On the beach, yes go for it; but, and I don't care if he's put in serious gym time and has the sort of chest and abdomen you could slice bread on, if you're walking down the street in your own town or popping into the shop for milk or whatever, put a shirt on FFS! Standards!

Cleaning a drain or the burner pieces on our bbq. Both involve a thick, viscous filth that just make me want to puke.

Ewwwwwwww........removing long hair from drains! That is the worst of gross.

It shocks me when US tourists travel to an exotic foreign country then eat at US franchises, only hang with other Americans, stay at Americanized hotels, and complain about how the country isn't like America.
I finally asked one of them why they'd left the US then.

Confuses the heck out of me, too. Some Canadians do this and it's the main reason I won't travel with a tour group anymore.

Brits do this a lot, too. They'll go to somewhere like Spain or Portugal, eat nothing but hamburgers and fish and chips, stay around the pool or on the same beach with other British people, drink British beer in British pubs and clubs, moan about foreigners and then come back and say "it's good to be home." Why bother?!

Just human feet - ick. Cats have nice feet; human feet are gross.

Jnei Level 8 Aug 3, 2018

I love kitty paws. Especially when they let me touch them

3

Not brushing my teeth before bed really bothers me, I can be so, tired that Ican't stay awake and I still have to do oral care. I have actually woke up standing in the bathroom with a dead electric toothbrush in my mouth after about two hours after starting brushing.

If I have dry skin sort of snagging on the sheets, or a rough toenail, I have to get up & smooth my heels with a pumice stone or clip my nails. Lotion is a must!

What grosses me out the most is probably hair. I think I have an actual hair phobia.

Carin Level 8 Aug 3, 2018

@JustKip It's OK if it's clean & attached to someone's head.
