Then more male babies would be dying of SIDS/Cot Death...something I have not heard...I'm going to read up on that. Thanks for posting!

Quick resaerch--yes they do die more often than girls. The article was about research focusing on the possible causes, & circumcision was, amazingly, not mentioned.
We had a whole discussion about this topic a couple of weeks ago here on a post.

@Simon1 We didn’t know of this connection that your article mentions. It was just about pros and cons of circumcision. Thus would have been another reason not to have it inflicted on children.
