I spent Sunday with friends at the Luton Mela. That doesn't mean I am religious it just mean that I am Multi cultural. How about you.

There is nothing wrong in learning about and enjoying other cultures and customs. I love to travel and always go out of my way to avoid tourist restaurants and souvenir stalls, preferring to mingle with the locals and eat what they eat. We can only be enriched by being educated in other people’s way of life, it may even make us appreciate how privileged a life we lead in rich western countries. My only criticism of multiculturalism is that immigrants to the UK and other western countries should not think that they can supplant our traditions with theirs. They should become more integrated into our society and not cling to their own customs or expect our society to change to accommodate them, particularly when it comes to education and such practices as FGM and forced marriage. I also agree with Denmark’s decision to ban the full face cover....it is an affront to all women!

Alot of groups are like CUL- ture. I will cherry pick the very best parts from every group and then incorporated into my world.

Think of myself as a world citizen, so that would make me multicultural. Still a strong individual leading myself first.
