I used to, but I'm retired now, so I can sit on my butt at home.

Yup ...today it was Durham NC, tomorrow it’s Jessup MD, then home on the range for a day … then DC, and off to Richmond.. But you get to go home to Staunton 🙂 I worked with a realtor for a couple months hoping to find a home in Staunton, roamed everywhere I could, what a beautiful old town and excellent location.

Any place you’ve seen you think you’d like better? I’m ‘on the blue ridge,’ SW of Roanoke.. I’ve heard it called “God’s country” often … though have a hard time disagreeing..

I stayed in a cabin for a week in the Quinault rainforest on the Olympic peninsula of Washington state. Most beautiful place I have ever been

@Phin Got my life quota of rain in Oregon.. Watched a TED talk yesterday about the subduction zone quake awaiting the PNW. That’s the main reason I left Oregon.. or I’d be living on that coast.

@Varn yea I always wondered when the old lady over Seattle was going to bow her top. I spent 4 years in Mulkiteo north of Seattle and it was beautiful but I got tired of have to make tons of money just to live.

I’ve been hiking down around Bent mountain south of Roanoke. Beautiful area
