Have you ever blocked somebody solely upon reading their profile bio, without even interacting with them? I just did...
No, I recently unblocked someone just because it shouldn’t be a life sentence and I can always block them again if need be.
Yep. Some are just trolling. Saw one earlier, doing just that, read the profile and decided we'd never have anything to discuss. Dont need their stuff cluttering my feed.
Yes. I have. If they list killing animals as their hobby or post pictures of their murder victims, then they are most definitely someone with whom I never want to accidentally have a conversation.
Are you serious? How would you look at a profile if you've never interacted with the person? And....are there REALLY people with that type of profile here?
@LucyLoohoo of course there are people here that take delight in killing animals...and you can look at anyone's profile --- by browsing members or clicking on them when they post/comment.
You mean recreational hunters?
let's not use euphemisms to gloss over what it really is.
@SkotlandSkye what do you call hunters?
@SkotlandSkye, @evergreen clarify?
@GreatNani I call them what they are: murderers
I have blocked about five trump people on agnostic.com.
No, it hasn’t occurred to me that I would need to. I just wouldn’t respond to anything nasty.
No, but it's definitely something that could happen. Racist, misogynist and homophobic comments, membership of or support for racist, misogynist and homophobic organisations and antisemitism are all things which, if I saw them on a profile, would mean insta-block. As would not liking cats.
Those would be automatic blockers for me, as well, but this person's profile just read like a sort of business transaction, and I found it kind of, well, chilling.
It wasn't me, was it?
It certainly wasn't.
No. So far, I have blocked 9 men and one woman because of:
Mean replies to my posts or comments that attacked me personally;
Men who won't stop messaging me, despite my kind and clear rejection.
Guys who lash out after I say I'm not interested.
Sexual messages.
