You would need to define "ghost". As for a disembodied spirit, no evidence exists and good explanations for the phenomenon do. Mold toxins, carbon monoxide and simple human imagination have been found at most every "haunting". So no, I do not believe.

Haven't seen any evidence evincing the existence of ghosts or other spirits. So, find no reason to believe in "things that go bump in the night" (as it pertains to ghosts and spirits - there are certainly physical things that bump in the night.)

On a side note - just finished a business trip to a meeting in Rhode Island. While discussing the hotel we were staying at (showing its age, needing a renovation), one of the other attendees mentioned another hotel in the area that he claimed was recently closed as it was "too haunted". I just mentioned I would LOVE to stay in that hotel - even in the "murder room" that supposedly had numerous mysterious deaths over the years and very few could spend the night. Like any legend, I suspect the description had outgrown the actual situation.

In order for there to be ghost there would have to be a soul and I do not believe in the concept of a soul when your body dies you die end of the story

No belief in ghosts or anything supernatural at all. I think it is all BS and fantasy. A desire to not admit that when we die there is nothing else. I find it completely incompatible with atheism.

Growing up as a child, my father would always blame weird things such as not being able to find something on Mrs. Smelko. She lived in the apartment before we did and had died. It was just fun,,,nothing else.

If there were ghosts, they would necessarily have physical properties and descriptions. In other words, they are a natural phenomenon, not 'beyond' nature or supernatural, whatever that is supposed to mean. In the absence of descriptive evidence, I remain a skeptic.
