One of the most powerful and empowering realizations I have ever had: life is meaningless.
The great thing is that it totally sets you free you're not obligated to do anything so the meaning of life is really whatever you wanted it to be I basically consider life the most amazing open world video game ever created
Nihilism, the final frontier?
I didn't really mean anything that deep by my comment. but rather that life, or what happens, has no intrinsic meaning. Meaning only comes through our interpretation of events, and by our assignment of value or importance to them. I was merely stating that life is what we decide it is.
Exactly. It's OUR LIVES, to do with as we please, not to fulfill some "divine destiny."
Nothing in life means anything until we assign it a meaning. We are the only creatures who have the ability to insert individual interpretation between stimulus and response. This gives us the ability to control our reality.
