Landlord Squirrels ! Life is kinda like the Matrix isnt it , we're plugged in to the fantasy factory where every imaginable preferable way of living our lives is on the big screen and imposed onto the lil screen
behind our eyeballs . We can imagine any existence we want but in reality we're strapped to a life of hopeless slavery . Go outside , listen to your world , the world is not inside your head . Today , while hiking I pondered the notion of the wild critters becoming ' like us ' , greedy , selfish and hatefully spiteful.
What if the squirrels decided that hickory nuts were money ? What if they decided that it would be natural for all the squirrels to hoard up nuts and then trade them for the right to own large parts of the forests and to charge other squirrels to use their part of the
forests . Eventually some of the squirrels would own all of the forests... What the hell would the rest of the squirrels do ? Gather nuts at slave wages for their
landlord squirrels !
