Worst clothes to buy – swimsuits! I went shopping for a swimsuit yesterday. I have come to the remarkable conclusion that the price of the swimsuit is in direct proportion to the amount of skin it reveals. How else can one account for the fact of a one-piece suit priced at $50 and a string bikini priced at almost $200?

And whoever conceived of putting underwires in the swimsuit bra? Last time I checked, breasts float. And who would want to swim or frolic with metal digging into your ribs?

Fit is also problematic. Our choices seem to be to let our butts flop or our busts pop.

I wonder if they’ll let me swim naked at the Y?
