What do you do for fun that also counts as exercise?
I did aerial silks for a while until I moved away from the place i practiced. Super hard, but super fun.
Walking it's therapeutic , relaxing and good exercise , and it gives me a sense of perspective. The added chemicals ie noradrenaline and serotonin (?) help the mood. I also live in a beautiful place, and I don't drive.
Play soccer, build with green wood, walk the dog.
Still try to hit the gym at work and run on the thread mill at least 30 minutes everyday but I keep getting mixed signals from my doctor telling me to exercise but running is killing my kidneys...what a heck?? Makes me feel like damn if I do and damn if I don't...yeah, a bit grumpy today since I didn't go out last night.... this old dog refuse to get caged up and yet life keeps wining the battle taking things away one little bit at the time...
Rolling on the bed, jumping from one couch to another couch like a monkey for no reasons. LoL.
I like playing sports, I still play competitively. I actually have a basketball tournament next weekend. I do enjoy walking, even though I already walk about eight miles a day at work.
Canoeing is my sport. I paddled about 30 miles last weekend. But I also walk, cut and stack my own firewood and lumber, and just work outside in my yard or in the woods, often.
I do afternoon chores on the farm, I'm working with my green horse, and ride him. When I was young, I was a belly dancer, but I am a pretty scary looking belly dancer now, so I only do it in my living room, with the dog and cat as my audience. (They are not impressed). I have my great big dog that I walk, but usually, we just walk around the farm, so she can be off leash. I usually do a few squats every day to keep my legs strong, my artificial knees nimble, and my arthritic hip worktable, so i can ride. I pick my wild raspberries and work in our garden. I'm getting pretty old, so not the young, slim girl I used to be, but I try.
Weight training, working in the natural environment, both fun, both suck.
Far out. I don't do anything.......what a loser!
Because I am so exhausted from getting my exercise walking while working 5 days a week in retail! The only positive thing about my job at the moment ......blrrrr.
Other than walking through stores and other interesting places I like to do various styles of dancing; particularly Ballroom. Believe it or not, a good Square Dance can be a great workout.
