Anyone else a horror movie fan???
Yes! But sadly I find myself missing out on a lot of the good new horror movies since I live alone. I’m a wuss that way.
Hell yes. I love horror. And Disney. In a good mix of both
I like found footage movies. They have a certain creep factor that I like. I also enjoy zombie and possession movies, with a little slasher and monster/creature horror. Sci-fi horror is good too but it's kind of lacking since only the alien and predator movies are the main thing. We need to get fantasy and cartoon horror started.
You need to look into the cartoon macabre, Spawn.
@LarrySalmi Spawn felt more anime-ish to me.
Yes! However I find them lacking good quality lately, with preferences for jump scares and torture gore, but I was really impressed with IT last year... searching on IMDB, there are a lot of tags for horror movies and shows but most of them seem like just straightforward scifi to me, so I don't know what the qualities of a "good" horror movie would be. I'd say my first was when I saw The Exorcist at about 7 years old, it never scared me but a few years later Poltergeist did the trick and I've loved the genre ever since!
A truly good horror movie gives you nightmares the first time you watch it, then you can't stop watching it. Or either way.
Yes, but not "tortureporn" like Saw or gore (with some exceptions: George A. Romero's zombie films are excellent, and the original Evil Dead films are very funny). Nosferatu, Let The Right One In, Nosferatu, It Follows, The Babadook, A Field In England, Alien and others.
That would be me. Probably because when I was little mother wouldn't let me watch anything like that. One of my very first scares was that dang Wicked Witch from Wizard of Oz. She was terrifying! Since then I really love them if not too terribly gory. Although, I can handle that too and sometimes it tends to be worth of a laugh if its so overdone. I like to be scared and then hide in the shoulder of my movie partner! Well, I would if I had a movie partner. 1 2 Freddy's Coming for You.
