So we are adventuring away. A 70 year old woman(me) my son who is deaf and has developmental issues are moving to Prescott Valley AZ with a little black and white dog. We started out with 2 dogs, but my little snuggle-bug Snickers the pug passed away in Story City Iowa from heart failure. A great loss to us. Drove 4 days through the plains and mountains towing a small trailer. The mileage on my Prius fell from 49 mpg to about 30. I know towing anything with it is bad, but we made it to Cortez CO to stay with my other son. Life presents us with challenges and we can run from them or to them. Meeting this head on and feeling great about it. What feelings or comments does anyone have on this? Input is very helpful and interesting...
Hey Gypsy, let me know when you arrive in the area.
I sure will, Al! Looking forward to it.
What input do you seek?
Do you have a place to go to in Arizona? Are you worried your car won't make it?
Are you looking for different options on where to go?
I guess I was just sharing my excitement on this adventure. Reaching out into the intuitive universe for I know my MrT (my car) will make it and we know where we're going. Thanks for commenting!
I'll be honest in that I'm not sure about what kind of input you want. Towing with a Prius is not a good idea, but you already did it so......It sounds as if you and your son are going to have a lot of adjustments to make. I wish you luck on that but, more importantly, wisdom. Keep us updated.
Thanks for the feedback. We are aware that this is a huge change but we are excited rather than intimidated. We can use the luck!!
You sound brave..and compassionate.
Thank you!!
