So many people reject responsibility and curiosity in favor of sealing themselves into a box where absolute belief in an imagined and desireable dream prevents the intrusion of fact, logic, doubt, tolerance, or critical thinking. While thinking themselves rightful enforcers of their beliefs, they disavow responsiblity for their actions, deferring to their god for the fixes and cleanup.

Then they can go back to watching fake news and waiting on Jesus' return while ignoring everything he taught.

@isaac I definitely agree, parents who force their children to go to church usually mess them up pretty good, especially if the turn out to be gay. So fa so good with the millennials though. I think so anyway.
The Religious Right today does this with the political support for Roy Moore, support of Donald trump despite his sexual proclavities and once god fearing Mike Pence who is trying to inject his religion into our country's social policies.
