I was looking at our marriage certificate the other day and I noticed a line at the bottom that read: Any impediments (in print) (the priest had handwritten) Yes groom not of the catholic faith, I thought OMG if I had spotted that I probably would not have signed it, bloody cheek of ‘em. Well it was 51yrs ago and I was a bit hotheaded back then… I suppose it’s a good thing I never spotted it…
