Today His Holiness the Pope is visiting us in Ireland.....To me this is no less deplorable than Donald Trump visiting my Grandmother after torturing her dogs....
The Catholic church is finally losing it's hold over our people...and they know it...I do not believe he is coming here to Apologise for the churches protection of It's paedophiles..and their heinous abuse of children here and throughout the world.
He is coming in my view on a damage limitations tour...not for Penance...

My point exactly...ke ching ke ching...the Vatican already owe 1.3 billion Euros to Irish confirmed victims..that is just the current outstanding amount...its fortunate that this Pope is a champion of the poor and simple frugal living..they may have to get used to it...?
Apparently Ireland has no moles and all polar bears are descended from Irish brown bears...there you go...something to be proud of! ?

Wow..I knew we were snakeless...but I didn't know we were moleless too..
As for the polar bears being descended from our brown bears..which my forebears (no pun intended) wiped out..bastards! (Not proud of that fact)

What could he do though, I mean really? He is a man apologising for other men (and women) but he really does not have any special 'make it all go away' powers.

I have no issue with him personally...however as a figurehead for the holy Roman sea..he is God's representative on earth..presiding over a church that has been so destructive and deceitful in protecting their infiltrating abusers...
He can't make anything go away...whats done is done..but he has the power to prevent much of this abuse from occouring in the future..by dismissing (not transfering) paedophiles..and removing any Bishops that protect them or hide their crimes..
