So John McCain died today, which is weird. I used to really hate him, but now I can't really. Trump/pence has really done a number on how I view republicans from BEFORE. Do you remember when we thought bush was gonna destroy us all? Ahhhh those were the days
I liked McCain until he flipped on the Bush torture policies... Then he chose Palin for a running mate. Makes me wonder how long he had the brain cancer he died of...
Yeah, I never thought I'd be looking back on Bush and thinking, "Yeah, he wsn't so bad as all that". Trump makes him seem pretty harmless by comparison.
Especially now that he's all looney and obsessed with painting. Now he's kinda like that eccentric slightly racist uncle that you don't just can't hate
Can’t say I ever hated him, just agreed with his unfitness for office. Actually, this feels like ‘a learning moment,’ for me … where if enough sources sing the praise of an angry political opportunist ..seemingly everyone joins in. But, it’s a lot like being an Atheist, alone in a mob
John McCain is a testament disagreeing with another person's political views , whilst standing in awe of their courage.
Senator John McCain was a great man, he tried to handle the Republicans, but they were just to overbearing and out of control. With the Senator gone there is nothing to bring back reason in any fashion. He will be missed. Probably the last republican I would stand for.
