Well, today's the day. I go for my divorce hearing this afternoon. Unless he pulls some last minute shenanigans, it should be quick; all the paperwork is in place for a settlement. Nonetheless, I'm kind of a wreck. I can't imagine ever going back to him, but at the same time I'm devastated that I don't get to raise my boy in a loving little nuclear family. If y'all wonderful folks could just keep a small inch of peace in your heart for me today, I know I'll feel it when I stand next to him in the courtroom. (I have two friends joining me as well)
