I Fear The Day Technology Will Surpass Our Human Interaction. The World Will Have a Generation of Idiots.
-Albert Einstein
No it will not become that. We will adapt as will out ecomonic systems. Societies of more sharing & good will will be a part of it. The ecomonimcs will be for a standard basic income, Universal Healthcare, Public Schooling for everyone qualified. There will be adjustments & one will be that High Earners will have to start to pay their Fair Share in Taxes. There will be VAT taxes, etc. Bookkeeping will become simple because most of those taxes a collected at the point of sale. Leaving less room for tax avoidance.
Technology has an upside and a downside, a double edged sword. Back in 1995 many people began using IM's Like MSN Messenger and Skype. Suddenly, people were able to hold video conversations with friends and relatives who were hundreds and sometimes, thousands of miles apart. Frequent videos conversations may have led to a decline in people visiting each other as they could chat on video on a daily basis.
I have seen people walk across a busy road whilst looking at the screen on their mobile phones and that sometimes results in serious or fatal injury, especially, when driving a vehicle. Colleagues at work will quietly sit in a room during a lunch break and not speak to each other as they are too busy sending text messages to someone. It has been said by some people that the use of mobile phones has resulted in a decline in the attention span of young people and adults.
Was Einstein considered a "master communicator" or an "accomplished lecturer"?
I've been talking about this for years... Didn't know Einstein predicted it... until now.
