Academia in many areas has fallen behind and no longer provides an education that prepares our students for todays jobs. This is true of both college and just high school students. Industry today requires the job applicant to be ready to step into a job completely trained and I hear these students ask where am I supposed to get this training. If the student coming out of school with the training they received cannot apply that schooling directly to the job and in many cases while learning on the job they will denied employment.
