I was once on a park clean up and a wasp stung me THROUGH MY WORK GLOVE! Wasps and hornets are truly the assholes of the insect world.

I survived but yeah I dislike hornets.

Oh, man! Those critters HURT! So sorry!

I was sleeping in a tent in Co.Mayo Ireland with my partner and a hornet got in and stung the inside of my ear I woke up shouting and crying and didnt know what had happened the next day we went back to ballycastle to see my doctor who said the structure of my ear had collapsed because of the percussive impact- she said she could but a compression bandage on my head around my ears - it had apparently never worked for anyone before but was always worth a try - It didnt work (we never thought it would) and the structure of my ear is constantly slowly changing sometimes I cannot hear out of it as it get s closed up sometimes it bulges and is weird - Ah well if you can't have a funny ear without being teased unmercifully what hope is there for us
