So, Saturday while leaving the grocery store with my daughter and granddaughters (10 & 13), a man came up to me and handed me a receipt with $15 wrapped in it which was laying in the parking lot. He said, "Is this yours?" handed me the receipt. He and another guy walked to his vehicle and left. I looked at the receipt and noticed that it was not my receipt or money. So, I returned it to the service desk thinking that someone may claim it. I would have felt like crap if I didn't return it. I thought, if someone was nice enough to return what they thought was my money, then I could, too. And god or jesus didn't tell me to do it. People say I'm a good person, and I also wanted my family to see me and others doing the right thing.
You did the right thing , as did the guys on the parking lot , although I'm always a bit skeptic of strange men giving me stuff , especially in a parking lot . Need to be aware of potential trouble makers .
They seemed legit. They left before I could return the money to them
