It’s a peacful position and used even in secular and Buddhist meditation, I don’t use it because coming from a catholic family the position feels weird to me. That said, it’s harmless but for the trappings of the mind.

I am still a stomach sleeper but I am sure what you're describing is just comfortable for you right now. As I've gotten older the number of ways I can comfortably lay in bad has become less varied. Trust me, it'll get worse
