Senator jeff merkley, interviewed by rachel maddow, has obtained a document authenticated by the department of homeland security, showing that the trump administration has transferred $10 million out of fema (anyone think we might need fema REAL soon?) to ice, in order to fund internment camps to lock up immigrants behind barbed wire. note that these are not necessarily illegal immigrants, but rather mostly properly behaving asylum seekers. (even those who crossed the border without permission are guilty of nothing more than a misdemeanor.) explain to me how we are not becoming, in spirit, nazi germany....

apparently it is flexible up to a certain amount, and amazingly this does not exceed the amount. it SHOULD be illegal, but my opinion doesn't sway congress. well, not until november, anyway!
