In theory maybe not (except for the limits of logical impossibilities, which would be a definite "no", of course), but probably yes. In practice, we don't know. Probably yes. Maybe there is one potential limit, but maybe we never reach it in actuality because of various different reasons, one of those being our stupidity in the way we elect our leaders or structure our society or another one being a large asteroid that is coming at us a this very moment or a nearby gamma ray burst that vaporizes our atmosphere in an instant.
