I watched this fellow trying to keep the water out of his shop and way from his merchandise with a ridiculous broom.
After watching him for a couple of minutes losing his battle against the gushing water. Several men were standing around helplessly. I suggested to him to use a bucket over the leak, a fire hydrant knocked over by the truck.
A miracle! The water just flowed directly from under the bucket into the gutter.
Yes. I was patronising: Guilty as charged!
