In the early ‘80s I worked for a florist in Boulder, CO. We had a flower concession for concerts. Saw so many shows, but this U2 concert at Red Rocks was probably my favorite. Red Rocks is an amazing venue, and these guys used lights on the surrounding cliffs better than anyone I ever saw. And their sound! Wow! Get this: U2 was the opening act! Blew the house UP! After they played at least half the audience left. Who needed Flock of f*cking Seagulls after THAT?!
